For your consideration is this very interesting and unique piece of golden Age comic history. It is a letter from Comic Artist Sheldon Mayer to comic artist Howard Purcell. The stamp on the letter is dated October 9th 1947. The letter contains a note from Mayer with the unique heading "Note from Sheldon MAyer". Note reads Dear Howard, Here are two synopses- see what you can do with'em.

Letter Also contains a sheet of paper with a pencil drawing/Sketch of Queen Metala. Drawing is done by Mayer and contains details and instructions for Purcell on how to draw this character and the special features she has to have.

The details are very specific. For instance, there is an indication pointing to Queen Metala's crown that reads "Flat piece of shiny metal for crown". The last contents of the letters are two synopses of Wonder Woman episodes. One of the synopses is titled "Queen Metala".

IT consists of 4 pages and 3 episodes: Episodes A, B, and C. The beggining of episode A reads Test plane accidentally lands on planetoid. Captured by Queen Metala and Duke Alloi. Are put in separate dungeons in gas-filled mine tunnel.

Etta mental radios WW for help. Di Changes to WW, escapes in tunnel, finds Queen Aura in another dungeon. Aura tells her story -(flashback). Friendly yearly contests between metala's male army. And Aura's soldier girl army, who always won until Metala's soldiers use "metal-vapor" gun and capture Aura's army to work in mines.

Second synopsis consists of 5 pages and relates an episode with Eelia. You should be able to read both synopses entirely using the photos. But I can send you more pics if you need them. This is a one of a kind piece of comic history.

It comes from the state of Howard Purcell in Luzerne, pennsylvania. All pages show age tanning and edge wear but no rips or wears. The synopses were held together with a paperclip and some of the pages have marks of the paperclip imprinted onto them. Envelope has wear and tanning and some small rips to edges. Age wear and tanning to pages but not any other damage.

They have folding creases from having been in the envelope. Please, check photos and contact with any questions you might have.

Please, examine the photos carefully. They attest for the condition of the item much better than any words can. What you see in the photos is what you will be getting.
